Looked after implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems TS 13004 -1 (equivalent to ISO 9001) in different units and departments.QMS was also implemented in Service departments like HR, Accounts, Admin., ITS, Medical, Security, Estate, etc. along with all production related departments (Planning, Quality Control, Mining, Maintenance, Materials & Stores etc..)

Coordinated Quality Circle activities (120 quality circles in the division). Introduced 5 ‘S teams concept and 80 teams were registered in the division.

Continuous improvement projects through Juran’s Project by Project Quality Improvement. Improvement projects were identified through ‘GAP analysis’ in the division and implementation is monitored for more than 60 teams.

Preparation of Annual Quality Improvement Plan (AQUIP) for the division . Qualified examiner for JRD-QV AWARD . Assessed a Tata company and some divisions of TISCO as an assessor.

Coordinated implementation and to face assessment process of CII-EXIM AWARD which is based on EFQM model.

Contributed as HOD TQM in taking divisions score in  JN TATA TOTAL QUALITY AWARD (which is on same guidelines as JRD QV Award, but for divisions and departments within TISCO) from 199 to 508 in my tenure of 3 years.

Implemented Balanced Score Card in the division. Designed Corporate Citizenship Index in the division.

Recognised by Mr. J.J.Irani ,M.D.,TISCO as “BEST QUALITY CO-ORDINATOR” in TISCO in 1999-2000.
